El Topico o futuro centro de Salud, es de madera prefabricada que la MDP ha proveido, el piso es de tierra, no hay agua, ni electricidad pero si hay muchos pacientes y necesidades.

Toda la poblacion tiene Seguro de Salud Universal ( algo de lo cual estoy muy orgullosa) y si se les brinda atencion gratuita, medicacion gratuita y es mas repartimos Canastas Alimentarias gratuitas a Gestantes lactantes y niños menores de 5 años, el trabajo con la comunidad es conjunto tenemos al momento 2 promotoras muy activas, La Sra Meche y La Sra. Nina.

Ya visite el colegio tuve algunas cortas charlas de Lavado de manos y cuidado del agua, Tambien estuve en la 3era campaña de vacunacion de Hepatitis, conoci y camine por areas que no conocia, estuve con Gloria, alguien muy especial y querida. en esta caminata evitamos y vimos muchos perros algunos lindos y otros un tanto agresivos… Manuel aca tendremos mucho trabajo en Noviembre la Campaña antirrabica!!

We honored our main product the potato, A Papear Peru!! (eat potatos), we made a competition about the most nutritive and cheaper diet using our native products, was very creatives menus and very healthy one´s.
Then was a fair that the productors made it, they sold it veggies, cheese, fruits…, and was a lot of music !!!

Me preocupo de sobremodo la falta de vigilancia epidemiologica del caso, pues a ninguno de los familiares directos se le hizo el tamizaje de TB, ni se nos comunico del fallecimiento de este tipo de caso de importancia y gravedad.

En su honor decidi tomar mas accion en TB en mi centro de trabajo, uno de mis objetivos es incrementar el numero de captaciones de sintomaticos respiratorios.

Este trabajo es en equipo y aca estamos con Alex, gracias por tu apoyo Alex y si lograremos tener mas sintomaticos respiratorios captados, asi como NO tendremos mas abandonos suficiente para este año con el de Las Palmas !!

I qualify as a good movies those that can wake you up feelings, and this movie is one of them.

You can analyzed from several aspects but one aspect that touch me was what mean love, your decisions and specially your acts matter, sometimes this can be extreme difficult decisions that you can made it.

It is a very metaphorical scene for me, because trekked is like living life you can have troubles unexpectadly and people that love you and who give advices (from previous experiences) make sense, and you must trust and have faith on them. In life I really appreciate honestly, good communication and compromise. ( I saw those characteristics in this movie)

One of my passions is hikking and for sure this movie is very challenging in several aspects, that captivate me, I  enjoyed the sourrounders, the views, the action, the actors, and specially for be an american movie not everything is rose color, a plus.

Just I get it a flashback when I was doing Incas Road, some of the magnificent snow picks, and how hard was to be there… remember Coralith, Igor, Malu, Chato, Monica…!! I get Mountain sickness, I need a horseback..  I should write some blog about this experience , I could not avoided

Then another scene that I appreciate it is how they include a traveler physician in this expedition I love it, is exciting to practice in this kind of environment

Dr. Mendoza, a collegue that I met a couple of months ago, was very kind to offered me a position as a physician for a travel agency and I accepted it.

My first trip was October 10th with kids of 6th grade (they are around 11yo), they come from the Catholic School, Sant Vicent of Paul of Chincha, now depending on my schedule I will do more trips specially to the rainforest, I will update that in my next post. 

I agree to join them at 6pm Friday at Fiori bus stop (because was closer to my work place the YMCA), then I met Yolanda and Pedro a nice couple, the owners of the travel agency.

Was a wonderful experience, because combine couple of passions that I have: Medicine and Traveling.

I had few real emergencies that I was prepared it and I solved quicky, I had my red bag (cooler) the main problems were  contusions, and digestive problems. Almost I slept well all nights, except for couple of calls at midnight, nothing serious, and always I went at the end of the group to be sure everybody was OK.

We arrived to Cajamarca very delayed around 10 am Saturday because the road was very bad, several holes in the way, the weather was really nice and the view was very magnificent all the green hills, cows, horses, the crispy and clean air and the sun shine.

They were waiting for us at the hotel (Hotel el Cabildo), everybody was starving and was delicious to started the day with fresh fruits, coffee and milk and specially the warm bread with nata mmm…, I really enjoyed it, the people there was very warm the service was good.

I met at the entrance our touristic guide in Cajamarca Leo, a nice guy, I ask him for my older friend that live for long ago in Cajamar Dr. Martin Benites, he did not know him probably because he is a gynecologist, then I asked to the receptionist and she gave me his number I call him inmmediatly and we decided to met at night with him and Rosita, his wife, one of my best friends from Med School, everything work it, I was working, having fun, and visiting a very special friends

Then we went to the City tour to visit several churches, museums

 I was impress about the textil art, and particullarly about the handbags and the pañon I wish soon I will see how they made it.

Then we went to the rescue room where the Inca trade 1 room of gold and 2 rooms of silver for his life

We walk to Santa Polonia the way is very romantic, I love the view..

Then the first week of October was the huge celebration in honor of Our Lady of Victory ( Virgen del Rosario) , with a solemn procession accompanied by a band and participation of many feligreses who carried a lot of flowers and candles, after that the big party Monday at the Stadium with a popular cumbia band El Grupo 5, .

I miss it, but I heard that was a great party, now I am big fun of this band, I hear their songs in all the public buses that I take everyday to go to Pachacamac, and the other day we went to the karoke with a friends and I sing one of their songs !!  I could not resisted … Monica remember !!! well!! …oh… I forget the corrida de toros… probably I will write more blogs about Cumbia and the Corrida de Toros or Bullfight.

The 5th of October was the National Medicine day, and Tuesday we had been celebrating at CMP, was a very gracious detail from the staff for the physicians, was a delicious dish one of my favorites, potatoes with Huancaina salsa style, (made with a lot of cheese and hot pepper and other species) that they prepared, it was a nice recognition specially at these days when we had almost 18 days a national  medical strike!!, and we are continuing working .. well… my camera did not work but a collegue took some pics probably he will send me soon and I will post it… it is very late and I should go to sleep, I am so excited because I will traveling this Friday!!!, and tomorrow I will stay on call

Las relaciones a distancia particularmente son complicadas porque nos retan en valores como confianza, verdad, madurez, perdon, el querer crecer, el asumir con responsabilidad y compromiso y lo mas importante aprender a vivir el ¨hoy¨y ver con fe el futuro, va mi homenaje a parejas que no sucumbieron a la distancia en las previas decadas, se imaginan sin telefono, internet ni videos!!, y mas aun a personas que viven el compromiso del matrimonio, en las buenas y en las malas, en la salud y enfermedad, mis padres me dan ese ejemplo de querer encontrar a aquel compañero que no desmaya que cuando venga el tiempo de los reveces nos levantaremos una y mil veces y ganemos una y otra batalla, estoy segura que existen personas integras con compromiso.

Lo bello es la pureza de los sentimientos que florecen y despiertan en nuestro ser mas profundo estas experiencias y la oportunidad que nos dan de conocermos mas a nosotros mismos y a quienes permitimos entrar en nuestros corazones, de ese modo la vida no se torna monotona, tiene esos matices que desnudan nuestro corazon y nuestra racionalidad, y nos muestran las diferencias, el nivel de tolerancia y compromiso que podamos asumir y que en realidad queremos y decidimos tener.

Como es posible que dos personas que se amen se puedan separar?, es algo tan bello el amor, el enamorarse, es obvio que una relacion no solo es piel, espiritualidad, vislumbrar un horizonte juntos, ser equipo, entrega, lealtad, es basicamente la decision de querer desnudar nuestros miedos mas profundos, compartirlos, vencerlos y crecer con confianza y paz para disfrutar el cada dia con pasion, no con frustraciones ni sufrimientos.

Yo amo apasionadamente la vida, y agradezco a la vida por todas mis experiencias pues me han nutrido mucho y me han dado mucha felicidad y a la vez momentos duros de los que me he tenido que parar y recomenzar de nuevo con transparencia y ahora viendo hacia atras puedo decir bien valio la pena vivir cada segundo, y las cosas no son tan negras o eran tan negras como inicialmente las veia,  tienen mas color y mas posibilidades deberiamos estar agradecidos por esas experiencias dolorosas que nos enseñan a saber que queremos y a luchar por lo que queremos finalmente el tiempo cura las heridas y abre nuevamente nuestros corazones.
